Students may test out of Class Piano I, or they may test out of the piano proficiency requirement fully by auditioning for the music faculty. Piano performance majors must enroll in applied piano lessons and are expected to test out of MUS 115 and 116.


This option requires 3-5 SH total in either one or both of these courses.


 Normally a student will enroll in a senior capstone for two consecutive semesters in consultation with the music faculty.
