Unlock the transformative power of narrative in a changing world 

Students learn the power of narratives to help understand themselves, where they come
from, and where they’re going. As graduates, students are equipped with the skills and
strategies to make sense of the world through a knowledge of societies’ pasts, religious
worldviews, and creative and thoughtful communication.

What you can study: 

  • Creative Writing 
  • Digital Media and Journalism 
  • History 
  • Religious Studies
  • Stand-alone minors including History of the Christian Science Movement and Literary Studies. 

What you’ll do: Explore the transformative, cross-cultural power of narrative storytelling
in human experience by exploring history, religious studies, journalism, digital media,
and creative writing.

Where you’ll learn: 

  • Principia’s state-of-the-art TV and radio/podcasting studios
  • Editorial offices of the Mistake House literary magazine, and the student-produced Principia Pilot campus newspaper and website
  • Through high-profile, high-impact internships such as at The Christian Science Monitor and The Mother Church (headquarters of the Christian Science church) in Boston, Massachusetts; public relations firms; and the Wordsworth Trust in Grasmere, England
