School of Government
The School of Government building located in the heart of the academic campus houses the administration, faculty offices, classrooms, and student gathering spaces. This newly renovated building boasts updated technology, flexible meeting and classroom spaces, and selected artwork from Principia’s vast museum collection.
The new façade and entryway enjoys mid-century modern architecture with 21st-century influences. Outside the entryway is the flagpole, a common meeting place. Steeped in tradition, a covered breezeway, called the “colonnade,” connects the School of Government to the entrance of Cox Auditorium where each year Principia College welcomes new students to the campus in the fall, and seniors take their final walk to graduation in the spring.
