The purpose of this requirement is to encourage students to apply their philosophical knowledge to real-world issues. This can be done in a course from another discipline, particularly a discipline in which a student is double-majoring. This requirement can also be fulfilled by a Philosophy course that involves applying philosophical analysis to real-world problems. Suitable courses will be determined in consultation with advisors.
